Mar 9 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

The “Empty Bowls Project” is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. The mission is to create positive and lasting change through the arts, education and projects that build community.

The basic premise is simple:
Potters, crafters, educators, students and volunteers work with the community to create handcrafted bowls.
Volunteers donate soup, bread and dessert items to serve.
Guests are invited to the 4th Annual Empty Bowls Event for a simple meal of soup and bread served
at The Room @ 14th Star.

This annual fundraiser for Martha’s Kitchen was started by a group of volunteers under the leadership of Donna Fontana-Smith in an effort to help fight hunger within our community.

We are seeking individuals to assist with preparing and donating Soup for the Event.

If you would like to help, please email Marianne at: grnmtnmaple@gmail.com

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR on the Day of the EVENT. Tickets will be available soon at the Kitchen.
