Since the Make The Cut competition is not going on this year 14th Star Brewing has invited the Mashers to create a brew to brew on their system for distribution and to serve at the Vermont Brewers Association Winter Festival at Killington on March 23. In honor of Greg Noonan we will be doing Scotch Ale since Greg literally wrote the book on it. Recipe is being formulated and will be posted below.

The plan is to brew 30 barrels and allow members to take home as much wort as they can (they said it like a challenge) and the rest to be fermented on site. Brings lots of clean containers to transport your wort.

This will be a full professional brew day experience!!! Please RSVP accurately so we can judge accommodations.

The Balladeer & The Bluesman @ Twiggs - An American Gastropub
Feb 16 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm

The artists covered in one of their performances are wide ranging: Hank Williams, Willie Dixon, Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, Sonny Terry & Browie McGhee, J.J. Cale, John Prine, Robert Johnson, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Van Morrison, Delbert McClinton, Howlin’ Wolf. The list goes on. While Cooper and Lavoie’s song arrangements are ‘stop on a dime tight’, there’s plenty of room for improvisation. The duo has reached the point where they are often able to sense what the other is about to do before it happens. Mark’s harp playing brings many up-tempo songs to a fever pitch. It’s not unusual for the same songs to be played differently on different nights. They continue to surprise and impress each other.

Think and grow rich is the go-to guide for anyone looking to improve their lives to your potential. This book is not a get rich quick book. In fact, it doesn’t even have to be about money. The principals are consistent with personal growth and development. EVERY worthwhile consultant in America says when starting any personal growth program to read THIS book 3 times in year 1 and once a year after. How many times have you read it? It’s the start that stops most people.
