It’s finally here! We wait for it every year to taste the flavor of the season. What flavor could that be? Maple of course – Vermont’s official flavor!
In it’s 52nd year the Vermont Maple Festival will take place in Downtown St. Albans and the surrounding area. The weekend celebrates the close of the sugaring season in Vermont. More than 35,000 people come to our community from all over the world to experience this scrumptious event, read on for all the things you can do to celebrate.

The Main Street Stage has many performances throughout the weekend, Main Street shops and dining will be open, the Main Street block between Lake and Kingman will be closed to vehicle traffic for the street vendors and pedestrians to enjoy events around town.
As you stroll around the city over the three days, check out the downtown merchants windows as they participate in a contest.
Stop by one of the Vermont Maple Stores, and select your favorite grade of syrup and take some home. The darker the syrup, the richer its taste, which is your pick?
Visit the Village Frame Shoppe & Gallery to see the amateur photo contest capturing the scenes of the season. Four categories of entries include process, scenic, people, and using the product. Check out 2017’s winners here.
Don’t miss the 2 hour Maple Festival Parade takes place beginning at Noon on Sunday bringing thousands to the city streets to observe the parade through downtown. Check out the parade route and enjoy!
